The result of my new Chi hair straightener I got for Christmas.

 Look at this one from 2009.  She's growing up so fast!

Last week I had bronchitis and a sinus infection, which was actually a blessing since I start back to school this week and I had yet to be sick all year- better to get sick when I don't have 12 hour clinical days!  But, last week also happened to be the Quadrantids Meteor Shower, which coincided with the coldest night of the year- about 18 degrees with the wind chill.  That didn't stop me and so at 2:30 AM Wednesday morning, I bundled up in two coats, a hood, hat, and blanket and headed outside to watch.  It was freezing, freezing cold, but wow! It was a pretty amazing sight. (The meteors-not me.  Well, I was definitely a sight, just in the fright kind of way, haha)

 Spencer got roller skates for Christmas and we took her to the roller skating rink one afternoon.  I didn't know those places still existed, but let me tell you- it was like walking into a time warp- nothing has changed since 1989.  Spence loved it and she's actually pretty good.
