I'm a follower from FF. Your profile struck me because of my grandson. My son (stepson, but I raised him since age 7) is Baby Daddy. He & Mommy were together twice. No big deal.
So when she found out she was pregnant, he didn't believe her.
She brought the baby over @ 2 months. My husband took one look and said - you're a father, son.
It took a while, but he finally accepted his son.
He was away at school. Mommy was wonderful and wanted us to be part of GS's life. She'd drive him over to us, leave him with us for a visit. We had nothing for a baby.
Little by little, we became a baby house & I cared for him 5 days a week - from 5 mos. to 18 mos.
Can I tell you how much I admire Mommy for including us in her son's life when his daddy barely had anything to do with him?
She put her son first & I'm so grateful.
Sorry to go on and on. I really wanted to just say hi from FF. Am very happy to meet you.
