I'm not really quite sure what a sound mixer does, but Resul Pookutty gave the most heartfelt acceptance speech for his Oscar win. I usually tune out when they get to the technical awards, but he had my attention from the moment he began to tearfully express his gratitude. There were a lot of nice speeches, and of course I cried when Heath Ledger's family accepted his award, but Pookutty's so sincere thank you just made me really happy for him, and for India!
Watch it when you get a chance, it's pretty short and worth the watch, or re-watch!
